Designing with AI
I use AI to speed up the repetitive parts and spend more time on the parts that need judgment. I built the Sittax UI kit so screens generated by anyone on the team start from the same components and rules, and I introduced functional specifications produced with Claude, Figma and Notion as the handoff standard.
AI produces a plausible screen in seconds. My job is to make sure it’s the right screen: consistent with the rest of the product, accessible and true to the business rules.
System first, generation second
Documented tokens, components and patterns become the context AI follows. Without them, every generated screen invents its own look.
Handoff with functional specs
Every screen goes to engineering with a functional specification document (FSD) produced with AI from Figma, which helps both the engineering and QA teams.
Human review where mistakes are expensive
Complex business rules have exceptions AI doesn't know about. I review error states, edge cases and accessibility before anything goes to development.

About
I live in Goiânia, Brazil, and I’ve been designing digital products since 2004. Most of my career has been in software people use all day to get their work done: payroll, ERP and tax compliance. In these products a confusing screen becomes a filing error, a support call and rework, so clarity is worth real money.
I like to get into the problem early, talk to the people who use the product, and turn complicated rules into flows that feel obvious. I work well in remote teams with asynchronous communication. I speak Portuguese and English.
